We’re excited to launch Explore London: English Immersion Tours, a new series of group language experiences that invite English learners to swap the classroom for London’s neighbourhoods.
Led by our founder and award‑winning English trainer, Phil Hatcher, our immersion tours turn London into a live learning environment, combining expert English training with culture, conversation and connection.
‘London isn’t just the backdrop for our tours; it’s an essential part of the learning experience,’ said Phil Hatcher, founder of Your London Tutor (YLT). ‘We take English learners beyond the classroom or learning apps and into the city, transforming language from something you study into something you actively use. Language immersion gives you the chance to practise what you’ve learnt in real situations.’
Each tour is carefully curated to blend language learning with cultural insights. You’ll hear the stories behind the city and have plenty of opportunities to practise your language skills in a supportive setting. At the end of each tour, you’ll receive exclusive post-tour language materials to support your English learning at home.
The new immersion tours build on more than 10 years of YLT’s Explore London: Private English Immersion experiences, extending our proven approach to immersion learning to include group immersion.
‘At YLT, we have spent more than 10 years creating bespoke language immersion experiences for learners and visitors to London who want to use and engage with English in a natural, practical way,’ added Phil. ‘Our new group immersion tours build on that philosophy, bringing learners together to discover the city, build confidence in English and connect with others through conversation.’
