Our founder, Phil Hatcher, leads a team of specialist language trainers and pronunciation experts who bring exceptional knowledge and a passion for developing the people we work with. Phil Hatcher – Lead Trainer
Phil has spent more than 25 years helping professionals and teams develop the English they need to work, lead and communicate confidently. He has taught across South America and the UK and has been trusted by organisations such as Octopus Energy, HSBC, Unilever, BP and Nike.
Phil specialises in high-level communication training for managers, emerging leaders and C-suite executives, as well as Cambridge exam preparation and Business English programmes.
A Londoner and lifelong learner, he brings a creative, people-first approach to training, helping learners use English as an extension of their ideas, personality and professional voice.
Tim – Business English Trainer
Tim combines corporate experience with teaching expertise to deliver high-impact language training for professionals.
A qualified native English trainer with a background as a Chartered Certified Accountant, he has 16 years of business experience in auditing, risk management and leadership, along with seven years of teaching English.
He helps learners strengthen both their language skills and their workplace communication, from presentations and client calls to negotiation and stakeholder meetings. His approach is dynamic, structured and tailored to real professional situations.
Heather – IELTS Trainer
Heather is an IELTS trainer and former IELTS speaking and writing examiner. She is a specialist ESL trainer with more than a decade of international teaching and coaching experience.
Heather has trained learners and teachers across five continents, including roles with the British Council and International House, and holds a BA in English and German plus the Trinity DipTESOL qualification.
Her expertise includes Business English, exam preparation, pronunciation coaching, accent refinement and digital learning design. Heather brings examiner-level insight to her sessions, helping learners perform with clarity and confidence under pressure.
